relax and let go – hatha yoga in clifton

Starting on Thursday 4th September 2014, this is a course of weekly yoga classes offering an introduction to Hatha Yoga. Classes are aimed at beginners and provide a foundation in key yoga postures and breathing techniques for relaxation, flexibility and increased self-awareness. As this is an evening session I will teach a gentle and nourishing class with yoga poses that work to release slowly and deeply, with an emphasis on letting go of tension and quieting busy minds before bedtime.

We’ll begin with gentle stretches to open up the body and explore a variety of postures each week. The class will finish with a guided relaxation so students feel deeply relaxed and ready for a good night’s sleep.

Time/Date: Thursday evenings from 7:30-9pm

Location: The Alma Vale Centre, Clifton, Bristol

Cost: £65 for a 6-week course

Please dress in comfortable clothing and bring a blanket and some cosy warm socks for the deep relaxation at the end of the class. All mats and blocks are provided, however students are more than welcome to bring their own bolsters if they wish. This is a course of six 90-minute yoga classes. Booking and payment is required by Monday 4th August to reserve your place.
