hatha yoga for beginners in southville – find your breath, relax your body and still the mind

Starting on Monday 10th November 2014, this is a course of weekly yoga classes offering an introduction to Hatha Yoga. Classes are aimed at beginners and provide a foundation in key yoga postures and breathing techniques for relaxation, flexibility and increased self-awareness. As this is an evening session, I teach a gentle and nourishing class encouraging students to work slowly and deeply, with an emphasis on letting go of tension and quieting busy minds before bedtime.

We’ll begin with gentle stretches to open up the body and explore a variety of postures each week. The class will finish with a guided relaxation so students feel deeply rested and ready for a good night’s sleep.

Time/Date: Monday evenings from 6:30-8pm
Location: The Southville Centre, Bristol
Cost: £70 for a 6-week course – 6 x 90 minute classes

Please dress in comfortable clothing and bring a blanket and some cosy warm socks for the deep relaxation at the end of the class. All mats and blocks are provided, however students are more than welcome to bring their own bolsters if they wish. This is a course of six 90-minute yoga classes. Booking and payment is required by Friday 7th November to reserve your place.

Beginners Yoga in Southville

I've just finished a six-week beginners' yoga course with Sam and it's really inspired me to try and continue with yoga. Sam's incredibly patient making the class relaxing, constructive and enjoyable. None of us could believe how quickly an hour and a half could fly by.
